There is no such thing as JEE Main vs JEE Advanced because the JEE Mains Exam serves as the entry point for the JEE Advanced Exam.
Paper 1 and Paper 2 comprise the JEE Advanced Exam. The JEE Advanced exam employs only the online (Computer Based Examination) method. Students must pass both the Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams in order to be admitted to engineering programmes. Students who wish to pursue a B.Arch degree at one of the IITs must first pass Papers 1 and 2 before applying for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
The JEE Main Question Paper (Paper 1) consists of multiple-choice questions in the fields of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. JEE Advanced Paper 1 & 2, on the other hand, feature objective style questions from the same subjects.

Exam Syllabus: Both exams have separate syllabuses. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are included in the JEE Main Syllabus for students in grades 11th and 12th. In JEE Advanced, there are a few additional topics that must be covered in the exam.
